Restaurants in the Golan Heights
The Golan Heights are famous for many things. Among them all local wineries, some bigger and more commercial, as well as many smaller wineries. Equally famous for, is “Golan meat”, locally sourced meat, grass fed and with an amazing flavor profile. Such mean can be consumed in 3 different ways:
– You buy it fresh, you cook it.
– Go visit a local (or non local) restaurant – though it does taste much better when it’s local.
– You have a good friend that invites you over for dinner (the trickiest to accomplish).
We can go on for hours about how to best prepare meat, in oven, on the stove or even better and highly recommended, barbequing it. But that’s for a later stage. Let’s dive into some really amazing local restaurants, where you can grab a bite, and enjoy the Golan experience without to much physical involvememnt.
Even though I am a meat lover, I am openminded and will not leave you in the dark if you’re looking for a dairy option. Or something in between.
